Britain's Very First Karate Olympians

Britain's Very First Karate Olympians

Congratulations are in order for the very first two first karate Olympians, Lauren Salisbury and Charlotte Hope.

After qualifying in Croatia this year, Lauren took Olympic bronze in the Women's +59kg Kumite in Argentina.

The achievement is shared by BKF coaches Davin Pack and Paul Newby who have steered the youth squad, and special thanks must go to all the athletes' clubs, family and friends for their support on their journey through elite competition.
